On May 11, 2015 Charles published a debate article (op-ed) at “DN Debatt” in the largest Swedish daily “Dagens Nyheter”. The title was “Innovationspolitiken måste samlas i en egen proposition“ (“Innovation policy must be united into a separate government bill” – in Swedish only). One argument is that the design of innovation policy and research policy should be separated from each other – to escape the linear view. However, they should, of course, work together when implemented. You can find the article at the following link.

Jag håller med att innovation behöver diskuteras. Sociala förändringar skapas med information och värdeskapande och konsekvenser av innovationer bör bli mer i fokus.
Vi behöver alla spendera mer tid med mentorer, coacher, likasinnade och att lyfta andra. Kreativa hubbar och mötesplatser, inkubatorer och liknade behövs i olika format för att underlätta detta. Och det är viktigt att inte bara vara fast i samma en längre tid. Nya möten och influenser är viktiga.
