Scientific Award to Charles and Jon Mikel

Charles AvatarIn February 2016, Charles Edquist from CIRCLE (Lund) and Jon Mikel Zabala-Iturriagagoitia from Deusto University (San Sebastian) were given the 5,000 Euros UAM-Accenture Chair 2015 Award in Economics and Innovation Management of the Universidad Autónomia de Madrid. The award was given for a paper entitled “Is more always better? Analysing the Innovation Union Scoreboard in Sweden.”

A similar version of the paper is entitled “The Innovation Union Scoreboard is flawed: The Case of Sweden – not the innovation leader of the EU – updated version”. (A more elaborated version of the study of relevance for all EU Member States is currently under evaluation for possible publication in a scientific journal.)
