Finland’s innovation system was internationally evaluated in 2009. This evaluation focused particularly on the effectiveness of innovation strategy policy definitions from the viewpoint of the global economy. The evaluation team examined how the innovation system and its structures and organisations respond to changes, and the related challenges, in the international operating environment. Almost 40 recommendations and proposals for improvement were included in the final report.
