Bengt-Åke Lundvall, Björn Johnson and Esben Sloth Andersen at Department of Business and Management at Aalborg University decided to formally retire and celebrated this by a common retirement last June 1^st 2018 at Aalborg University – in which Charles participated. Ned Lorenz, Jan Fagerberg and Cristina Chaminade made presentations and Bengt-Aake, Esben and Björn gave their retirement speeches. The day closed with a reception and private dinner.
