During March 1 – 31, 2019, Charles was appointed to hold the “UAM-Accenture Visiting Fellowship” in the area of economics and management of innovation at the “UAM-Accenture Chair”, the Autonomous University of Madrid. Information about the UAM Accenture Chair can be found here: https://www.catedrauamaccenture.com/en/ . During his stay in Madrid he met several politicians and policy-makers in the field of innovation policy and gave several lectures, including one on “New Horizons in Innovation Policy”.
