On October 29, 2020 “The Slovenian Innovation Hub” organized a Conference on the Slovenian innovation system, in Ljubljana. The Key-note presented by Charles was entitled “The Role of an Holistic Innovation Policy for the Development of an Efficient Innovation System”. Under that title, he also addressed the role of the Swedish National Innovation Council as well as the importance of functional public procurement  as an innovation policy instrument.
