Third Tasks

From April 2013, and for the next three years, Charles Edquist is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Forum for Studies of Policies for Research and Innovation (Eu-SPRI). The other members are Stefan Kuhlman (Twente, President), Emanuela Reale (Rome), Stephanie Daimer (Karlsruhe), Jakob Edler (Manchester) and Philippe Laredo (Paris). Eu-SPRI aims at strengthening the community of researchers focusing on policy and governance of knowledge creation and innovation. More information at: http://www.euspri-forum.eu/

Charles is also now:

  • from April 2013, a member of the Expert Group for Development of Innovation Indicators at Statistics Sweden (SCB). The task is to develop existing and new indicators for measuring innovation as well as a process for how the collection of the data shall be achieved.
  • Coordinator of the CIRCLE Policy Advisory Board. The tasks of the board and its members are described here.
  • Member of the Advisory Board to The Council for Innovation Procurement (Upphandlingsstrategiutskottet), Region Skåne, Malmö, Sweden.
  • Member of the Ericsson Networked Society Index Delphi Panel. The purpose is to create a global index based on ICT maturity and its correlation to economic, social and environmental development of cities. The project is managed by Ericsson and Sweco Eurofutures. The first meeting was held on June 19 at Ericsson Headquarters in Stockholm. The next one is on August 23.”
